A sustainable free government relies on the virtues of its people. Virtues are based on faith not values. I believe the object of that faith is Jesus Christ.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5.6
An appropriate definition for the subject of this blog is noted below from dictionary.com:
world·view; The overall perspective from which one sees and interprets the world. A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group.
There are about as many worldviews as there are people on the planet; however from a Biblical perspective there are currently only two basic worldviews on the planet - Christian and non Christian. My prayer is to see non Christians embrace the Biblical Christian worldview. This cannot occur by debate nor reason but by faith only in Christ according to the Bible. My prayer also is to see Christians grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The word "Christian" has lost its true connotation in today's world. This is why I choose to add Biblical to our Christian identification. As Biblical Christians, we are followers of Jesus Christ of the Bible.
I prefer the New King James version of the Bible although I read other translations also.
Some favorite teachers are: Vernon Mcghee, Wathchman Nee, Francis Shaeffer, John MacArthur and Jason Lisle.
